For my 27th birthday, we ventured deep into the jungle in Northern Sumatra, Indonesia. We hoped to glimpse incredible wildlife, including orangutans and gibbons.. This incredible micro canyon with hot springs and crystal teal waters flowing through it was an unexpected bonus. With such a remarkable view, I couldn’t resist a chance to paint this scene This piece was started in Indonesia, traveling all the way back to the States with me in 2018.Although small, it brings brings so much life to intimate spaces
